What is Vaping?
What is Vaping? This is a term sometimes used to describe what most non-smokers think about as smoking, but is really just a modification of what is called smoking. An electronic cigarette is simply an electronic device which simulates smoking tobacco. It usually includes a battery, a power power source like a cigarette battery, and a glass or plastic tube such as a cartridge or sock.
Rather than smoke, the smoker inhales vapour instead. Like with tobacco smoke, vapour from electric cigarettes is carcinogenic (cancer causing). Inhaling vapors is simply as harmful to your lungs as sucking in tobacco smoke. But, since electronic cigarettes do not directly inhale the smoke that enters the lungs, they are safe for long term use. As such, utilizing an electronic cigarette on a regular basis is often referred to as “vaping” rather than “smoking”.
Another difference between a cigarette and an e Cigarette is that most do not contain nicotine. Nicotine is addictive and smokers will try to stop on cigarettes to stop the addiction, but they cannot. There is always another “high” or “rush” to replace the “hit” from smoking. Also, once you stop smoking, you may notice some difficulty getting over the withdrawal symptoms such as cravings, irritability, depression, anxiety, etc. These symptoms tend to be worse than the pain of nicotine withdrawals. Therefore, even if you are able to quit by yourself, you would still need to be supervised by a doctor such as your physician.
So, what’s Vaping? Many people use the term “juul” to describe what is essentially vaporising everything you are inhaling, however the two words have a great many other meanings. For instance, when I say “juul”, I’m not only discussing the liquid you will inhale. I am also discussing the specific fruit, vegetable, or Smok Novo 2 grain that the fruit, vegetable, or grain is. In cases like this, you are “juicing” everything you are eating or drinking, but you are not actually consuming it. The same could be said for the liquid that happens of the bottle or packet: it isn’t the juice, but rather what’s inside.
E-Cigarettes come in a variety of flavours such as fruity, citrus, chocolate, mints, along with other delicious combinations. Because they usually do not contain nicotine, they’re considered much safer than their counterparts, which are much like cigarettes with regards to addiction and health risks. They are also much easier to maintain when compared to a cigarette because there are no pesky tar and toxic chemicals to handle, which means you don’t have to keep taking the dreaded inhaler or patch. However, these benefits come at a price.
Many vapers declare that the electronic cigarette can replace smoking completely. Inhaling the vapour from your e cigarette has the identical effect as smoking; you feel no difference in your lungs at all. So, what’s the difference between vaporizing and smoking? Once you smoke a cigarette, you are inhaling tons of harmful chemical and other matter into your lungs, that is basically what smoking is. With a vaporizing device, you are only inhaling the vapour rather than taking in any nasty stuff into your system.
That is important because many studies have been conducted on what is being consumed by non-smokers if they use the cigarettes. It had been found that the chemicals and substances found in e cigarette vapor are highly harmful to human brain development. This was surprising since when non-smokers were exposed to similar amounts of substances, their brain didn’t develop any adverse effects. However, when they were subjected to even higher quantities of these substances, their brains did show signs of stress and damage. This means that these vapors are doing more harm than good to mind development.
So to sum up, what is vaporizing? It is basically causing more injury to the lungs then what is breathed in through passive smoking. Since there is still much controversy surrounding vaporizers, I would definitely advise people to stay away from them and use something safer as an electronic cigar.
